LEGAL NOTICE AND GENERAL CONDITIONS
These General Terms of Use, Sales Conditions and Privacy Policy govern the website weroots.org and any purchases made through it, owned by the Association Ethnic (Aethnic).
Aethnic is a non-profit association based at Carrer Emilia Coranty, 5, 08018 Barcelona (Catalonia), registered on November 2, 2006 in Section 1 under National Number 588018 of the National Register of Associations of the Ministry of the Interior with VAT number G‑64275076 and email hola@weroots.org.
These terms establish the rights and obligations of all Users of the ETHNIC ASSOCIATION, in relation to the products and services offered through the website weroots.org (hereinafter, WeRoots).
GENERAL CONDITIONS OF USE
These General Conditions govern the use (including mere access) of the web pages integrated into the WeRoots website and the content and services they make available to Users. Anyone accessing weroots.org agrees to be bound by the General Conditions in force at any time.
- USER OBLIGATIONS
- The User undertakes, in general terms, to use weroots.org, to purchase products and to use each of the We Roots services in accordance with the law and the provisions of these General Conditions, and shall refrain from using them in any way that may prevent, damage or impair the normal operation of weroots.org for other Users or may cause damage to the assets and rights of AETHNIC, to collaborators participating in WeRoots, to other Users or to any third party.
- It is prohibited to use the website for unlawful or harmful purposes, or in any way that may cause damage or prevent the normal operation of the site. Regarding the content of this website, the following is prohibited:
- Its full or partial reproduction, distribution or modification, unless authorized by the legitimate rights holder.
- Any infringement of the rights of the provider or the legitimate holder.
- Use for commercial or advertising purposes without authorization from the management team.
- When using the weroots.org website, the User undertakes not to engage in any conduct that could damage the image, interests or rights of WeRoots or third parties, or that could damage, disable or overload the weroots.org portal or otherwise prevent normal use of the website.
- However, the User must be aware that security measures on Internet systems are not fully reliable and that weroots.org therefore cannot guarantee the absence of malicious code or other elements that may cause alterations to the User’s systems (software and hardware) or to their electronic documents and files.
- PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
- WeRoots reserves the right to decide, at any time, the Products offered to Users through the weroots.org website. In particular, We Roots may, at any time, add new Products to those offered, understanding that unless otherwise stated, these new Products will be governed by these General Conditions. Likewise, We Roots reserves the right to cease providing or granting access and use at any time and without prior notice to any of the different types of Products offered on the platform.
- The experiences listed on the We Roots website include any applicable Value Added Tax (VAT).
- We Roots consists of experiences provided by a group of Collaborators selected by AETHNIC, who wish to offer their services to users of the website. Therefore, the content of the services may be redefined by Collaborators of We Roots and Aethnic reserves the right to make relevant modifications. However, once a reservation is made, it is the Beneficiary's responsibility to inquire with the chosen Collaborator (whose contact details will be provided) about any specific conditions.
- Any refusal by a Collaborator to provide the service for the reasons stated above shall not be considered discrimination of any kind and shall not entail any liability for WeRoots or the Collaborator involved.
- WeRoots acts only as an intermediary between the Beneficiary and the Collaborator, and cannot be held responsible in the event of non-performance or poor performance of the service. The Beneficiary is expressly informed that only the specific conditions of the Collaborator selected by the Beneficiary will apply during the service.
- WeRoots reserves the right to terminate its relationships with one or more Collaborators during the validity period of the reservation, particularly to ensure an optimal level of service quality. Under these conditions, the Beneficiary shall not be eligible for any refunds.
- We Roots is committed to not allowing any transaction that is illegal or considered by card brands or the acquiring bank to have the potential to harm their goodwill or adversely affect them. The following activities are prohibited under card brand programs: the sale or offering of a product or service that does not fully comply with all applicable laws to the buyer, the issuing bank, the merchant or the cardholder.
- PURCHASE PROCESS AND PAYMENT METHODS FOR WE ROOTS EXPERIENCES
- To make a purchase or reservation, the Customer must select the product they wish to acquire on the We Roots website and the number of units, and then add them to the shopping cart.
- Before processing the order, the Customer must review the details of the experience they wish to purchase.
- To process the order, the User must provide the requested personal and billing information. In any case, the Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided to WeRoots.
- The Customer must click the “Continue” button to submit their order, having expressly accepted these General Terms of Sale.
- The User must make the payment using the systems specifically provided on the platform. When making the payment, the User will be directed to a secure payment gateway of the banking entity, where payment card details must be entered.
- The order will not be recorded until the final validation, and the contract will not be definitively concluded until payment is accepted by the bank.
- Once payment is validated, the User will receive confirmation of their order via the previously provided email address.
- RETURN POLICY
- Returns under the right of withdrawal:
- All experiences purchased on weroots.org may be returned and refunded, provided that the User communicates their intention to return them within a maximum period of 15 working days from the date of purchase by emailing hola@weroots.org.
- The refund will be made within a maximum period of 30 days from the date the User communicates it and using the same method of payment used when placing the order.
- Order modifications:
- Once the purchase process is completed, the User must contact the selected Collaborator to request any modifications. However, WeRoots does not guarantee that experiences can be modified once acquired.
- WeRoots is available to provide the User with the contact details of the Collaborator.
- CUSTOMER SERVICE
- For any incident, complaint or exercise of rights, the User may send an email to hola@weroots.org or call +34 637 95 20 10 from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00.
- Once the purchase process for the experience is complete, the Customer must contact the selected Collaborator (service provider) to resolve any questions, incidents or requests related to the contracted activity.
- INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY
- The User acknowledges that all elements of We Roots and each of the Products, the information and materials contained in them, the trademarks, structure, selection, arrangement and presentation of their content, and the software used in relation thereto, are protected by intellectual and industrial property rights owned by the Network or third parties, and that the General Conditions do not grant any rights different from those specifically provided therein.
- PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
- WeRoots reserves the right to include in a personal data file any information provided by the User, in compliance with the guidelines of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27 concerning the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data. The purpose of this file shall be to provide our services and communicate with the User.
- Personal data collected via this form by WeRoots will be used to contact, offer and deliver the services related to the commercial relationship established between the parties. The personal data provided will be retained for a period of 10 years, or until the data subject explicitly requests its deletion. This period may be tacitly extended annually if neither party objects, with one month’s notice before expiry. Data retention will always be for processing purposes, without prejudice to the implementation of technical and organizational measures to protect the rights and freedoms of the data subject.
- This data will not be shared with third parties except by legal obligation or to fulfill the purpose of a contract.
- The User may exercise rights of access, rectification, cancellation, deletion, opposition, restriction and portability by sending an email to hola@weroots.org.

- WeRoots is committed to ensuring that the content of the services offered on its website:
- Avoids promoting any kind of discrimination (sexual, racial, religious, etc.) or any other violation of fundamental rights and public freedoms recognized in the Spanish Constitution and other legal regulations.
- Avoids inducing or encouraging illegal behavior.
- Is presented fairly and transparently and avoids leading to misleading conclusions due to inaccuracy, omission, ambiguity, expiration or similar.
- Avoids infringing legal or regulatory norms on communication secrecy, intellectual property, rights to honour and personal or family privacy, or any other provision applicable to the nature of the service.
- Aligns with the United Nations 2030 Agenda Sustainable Development Goals and contributes to progressing toward a tourism model responsible to destinations and the planet as a whole.
